May Wallace is an artist, art educator, graphic designer and social activist. She is a member of Gathering Crows, an artist and writers collective in Portland, Oregon. She holds a BA in art from Portland State University and a MAT in art education from Lewis and Clark College. May is interested in showing the many dimensions of a person through portraiture, and also to use portraits conceptually to explore issues of social justice.
